Safety First

The safety of our environment, our employees, and our customers are always our first priority.  Engineered Fluids’ Dielectric Coolants are biodegradable, non-toxic, non-allergenic, non-corrosive, and not flammable.

In addition, our products have no smell or toxic vapors as commonly found with hydrocarbon and two-phase dielectric coolants.  Our products do not evaporate and then re-condense in the data rooms or in the lungs of our customers.  Safe for open container use, and clean up is as simple as soap and water!

Manufacturing

Engineered Fluids’ Dielectric Coolants are composed of highly processed, synthetic compounds with special formulations based on each application.  Our manufacturing process requires a catalyzed reaction in our custom engineered reactors, followed by molecular distillation, blending, and filtration. All of our products are tested at several stages in the manufacturing process for conformance to a strict set of quality standards to ensure you get the best product every time.

Testing

Engineered Fluids’ Dielectric Coolants have been extensively tested for full immersion materials compatibility with a wide range of components and materials commonly found electronics systems based on their application.

We perform accelerated ageing and materials compatibility testing in our own laboratory, as well as in partnership with major US universities, and our customers. We have certified many different materials for use with our coolants including: metals, wire, insulation, plastics, paints, gaskets and O-rings.

Warranties

We are so confident in our products’ compatibility that we are able to offer Materials Compatibility warranties based on this testing.

In addition. our products have a 25yr shelf life and are so stable that we offer up to a 10yr  Operational Characteristics Guarantee for ElectroCool and AmpCool Dielectric Coolants.

Questions

If you have a question regarding the health and safety of our products, we recommend that you download and review the Safety Data Sheets (SDS, these were formerly known as MSDS) for the product you are using.  The SDS is in the OSHA standardized format and provides all necessary safety, handling, and clean up information.
